On November 8th, 2017, the Builders of Color Coalition, in partnership with AAREP New England and Millennium Partners – Boston, hosted its inaugural event, View from the Top: Developer Insights from Kathy MacNeil, at the Millennium Tower penthouses.

Kathy MacNeil, Principal of Millennium Partners – Boston, spoke with great humor and honesty about a considerable career that, most recently, included directing construction of the 60-story, 1.4 million-square-foot Millennium Tower.  She also addressed the critical work needed to open up access to the real estate profession to women and minorities.

Over fifty attendees, spanning Boston’s diverse building community, joined for a lively discussion — and enjoyed spectacular views of Boston and its surroundings from the 50th floor of Millennium Tower, the tallest residential high-rise in Boston.

The Builders of Color Coalition (BCC) convenes minority real estate professionals in Greater Boston’s building sector for the purposes of mutual professional development and leveraged access to development projects.  BCC’s membership comprises developers, investors, architects, attorneys, bankers, contractors, and brokers working across a wide range of firms, from family-owned enterprises to multinational companies.
