The Builders of Color Coalition (BCC) will launch its Investment Analysis Fellowship in the Fall of 2023, to convene established, real estate developers of color seeking to grow their capacities through group study of investment cases.

The program will run for a 3-month period from September to December, convening biweekly on Friday mornings for 3 hour sessions. Each session will center around interactive discussion of a real estate investment case study, led by the instructor/facilitator. Sessions will also feature 1-2 guest developers, who will offer their insights on the case, along with background on their own pathways and projects. Participants will additionally select a live investment project of their own to analyze over the course of the program, to present during the final session utilizing tools and knowledge gained.

BCC will recruit and select 10-12 participants, based on development experience and interest in rigorous, group-based analysis of investment decisions. Participants must be principals of their firm, or leading investment decision-makers. Further participants from a firm will not be permitted, but may be allowed to audit/observe on an exceptional basis. Participants are asked to commit requisite time for further study, and for implementation within their firms.
