BCC CORE Fellowship
The Builders of Color Coalition CORE Fellowship is a six-month educational opportunity for a cohort of regional, minority-owned real estate development firms seeking to grow their work through specific technical training to expand the scope and capacity of their projects.
The 2024 CORE cohort will run from March - August 2024, meeting once monthly on Friday mornings for six-hour learning and implementation sessions. Eight to twelve firms will be selected for the fellowship, and each firm can enroll 1-3 participants, with at least one participant being an owner or senior executive of the firm.
The program will lead participants through modules addressing core elements of real estate market analysis, bidding, contracting, financial reporting, risk management, and project management. Each month's interactive modules will be led by subject-area experts and instructors at university real estate programs. Through the program, participants will be provided access to financial institutions, development firms, and government agencies, to substantially expand their professional networks.
