The Builders of Color Coalition (BCC) convenes minority real estate professionals in Greater Boston’s building sector for the purposes of mutual professional development and leveraged access to development projects.  

BCC’s membership comprises developers, investors, architects, attorneys, bankers, contractors, and brokers working across a wide range of firms, from family-owned enterprises to multinational companies.   Founding members include: Dave Madan (Boston Investments), Saeed Coates (GPG Companies), Megha Vadula (Redgate), AT Desta (Rich May), Josue Velney (Winter Hill Homes), Aliyah Gary (iCare Realty), Taidgh McClory (CBRE), Taylor Pederson (NAIOP), Manikka Bowman (ULI), Cheryl Ricketts (The Mandrell Company), and Winston Jiang (UC Berkeley).

Founding members first convened in August 2017.  BCC collaborates closely with other initiatives working on increasing access and opportunity in Boston’s real estate sector, including African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP), Minority Developers Association (MDA), Commercial Real Estate Success Training (CREST), NAIOP, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Commercial Brokerage Association (CBA), and Real Estate Finance Associates (REFA).
